Chicago Pneumatic offers 1-in. impact wrench with 1,400 ft./lbs. of torque

The CP7640-6 from Chicago Pneumatic provides the best combination of power, performance and durability at a very affordable price point. The wrench features front air exhaust, aluminum alloy housing and easy button forward/reverse, among other features.

Chicago Pneumatic introduced the CP7640-6, a new 1-in. impact wrench, which the company said delivers 1,400 ft./lbs. of ultimate torque along with the speed and durability needed for high volume maintenance work on trucks, buses and heavy equipment.

“The CP7640-6 is engineered to provide the best combination of power, performance and durability at a very affordable price point,” said Brian Dove, product marketing manager – North America, Chicago Pneumatic. “This new CP7640-6 1-in. impact wrench has the muscle to get the job done fast and the durability that is synonymous with Chicago Pneumatic.”

The wrench features:
· Rocking dog clutch with oil bath for smooth operation and increased durability
· Inside teasing trigger for greater control
· Easy button forward/reverse
· 1-in. square drive with friction ring retainer for rapid socket change
· Aluminum alloy housing for strong durability and less weight
· Front air exhaust to protect the operator
