Dana’s new differentials are designed for vehicles encountering rain, ice, snow, sand, mud and excess grades that can cause poor traction.
The new axle differentials feature a helical gear design that provides fully automatic torque biasing thereby eliminating friction plates that can wear, the company said.
Dana offers limited-slip differentials to Class 4 through 6 original equipment manufacturers with gross axle weight ratings of 10,000-21,000 pounds in its single drive axles and DL344 series tandem drive axles.
