Kimball Midwest’s new electrically insulated screwdrivers have insulated shaft housings for maximum safety; they can be used for work with live parts in the 1000VAC and 1500VDC ranges, according to their maker.
In addition to meeting VDE and IEC electrical requirements, Kimball Midwest’s electrically insulated screwdrivers provide superior grip strength, increased comfort, and greater torquing power with their flex poly and rigid poly construction grips and built-in torque holes, the company says. They also have German chrome vanadium alloy blades with anti-rotational flares molded directly into the grip handle. The black oxide tips resist corrosion, allow for a precise fit, and eliminate light reflection during use.
