Trucker Path bundles software solutions with ‘Essentials’ package

Trucker Path's new Essentials bundle offers navigation, ELD, load board and dispatching solutions for small to mid-sized fleets.

Trucker Path recently announced Essentials, a bundle of products for small to mid-sized fleets. Included in the package are truck-safe navigation and routing, ELD, load board and direct-to-app dispatching solutions.

  • Load board: TruckLoads, offering access to search, bid and booking loads
  • Dispatch portal: Software that the company says makes dispatching loads directly to the Trucker Path app simple
  • Navigation: Truck-safe routing, mapping and navigation from Trucker Path

Fleets using other brands of ELDs to meet regulatory requirements can also take advantage of the Essentials bundle from Trucker Path without its ELD solution, the company says.

Verizon Connect has found that commercial drivers operate vehicles without a seat belt fastened in one out of every ten instances, according to research conducted in May by the Data Science Team at Verizon Connect. The report's conclusions mirror a connected pattern: an increasing occurrence of fatalities involving unrestrained commercial drivers, where 64 percent of truck drivers who lost their lives in accidents were not utilizing seat belts.
