Nexiq Technologies announced the release of its Blue-Link 2 Mobile Vehicle Interface. Developed primarily for use with applications that run on mobile devices (iOS and Android), Blue-Link 2 is designed to enable users to communicate with heavy-duty vehicles for access to basic diagnostic information.
According to Dave Shock, product manager at Nexiq Technologies, the second generation provides easier connectivity to iOS and has greater throughput than the company’s previous version. The advanced mobile vehicle interface can support CAN FD protocol and includes Wi-Fi connection capability.
