Oil Eater introduces eco-friendly absorbent pads

Kafko International Ltd. announced that its new absorbent pads made of natural plant by-products and featuring woven construction, Oil Eater Naturals, are designed to provide a safer and cleaner workplace while helping companies meet OSHA and EPA requirements. The manufacturer explained that its Oil Only Pads and Rolls soak up oil and repel water; its Universal Pads and Rolls soak up oil, water and other liquids; and Absorbent Socks control larger spills and protect drains.

The manufacturer explained that its Oil Only Pads and Rolls soak up oil and repel water; its Universal Pads and Rolls soak up oil, water and other liquids; and Absorbent Socks control larger spills and protect drains.

Products are available in various weights and finishes, ranging in size from 16 x 18 in. to 28 in. x 150 ft. rolls. They absorb up to 20% more than melt blown polypropylene pads, yet cost less, according to the maker.

Applications include production lines, industrial and maintenance facility floors, loading docks, paint shop floors and others, the company said.
