Stemco expands extended warranty coverage to P.S.I. products

The Platinum Performance System Plus now includes Stemco P.S.I.-ready hubcaps and additional Stemco components.

Stemco and Pressure Systems International (P.S.I.) have announced a partnership that will expand the Stemco Platinum Performance System Plus (PPS+) warranty coverage to include the P.S.I. automatic tire inflation system (ATIS). According to STEMCO, the PPS+ extended warranty wheel end package has been available through major trailer OEMs for 15 years, and features a seven-year parts and labor warranty coverage for new vehicle specification.

Now, the company says any Stemco P.S.I.-ready hubcaps are also covered under the PPS+ warranty. This expansion also includes field-serviced wheel ends with a limited five-year parts and labor aftermarket warranty, according to Stemco. As a result, the following Stemco components are now included under PPS+:

  • Discover XR or Guardian HP Seal;
  • P.S.I.-ready aluminum, Sentinel or Integrated Sentinel Hub Cap;
  • Auto-Torq, Pro-Torq or Zip-Torq axle fastener;
  • Heavy-duty bearings.
