Phillips Industries said it has added new shop tools to its line-up of electrical maintenance shop equipment.

The Digital Multimeter, which checks fuses, plugs, sockets, electrical cables, extension cords, control panels, small appliances, batteries, wall receptacles, etc. The pocket size Digital Multimeter (part # 4-532) has a large, easy to read LED display that measures power to .5 percent accuracy.

The Digital Voltmeter is for use with 6- to12-volt systems (part # 4-540). The red LED screen allows viewing in low light conditions – records 4 digit voltage reading in a range from 4.5 to 19.99 to +/-0.03 accuracy.

New fluorescent work lamps with precise spot lighting: Part # 8-110 is a 26-watt lamp with a 90° cord for hands-free, stand-up use, and Part # 8-111, a 13-watt heavy-duty work lamp. Both have a polarized plug with 12-amp grounded receptacles.

A self-adjusting wire stripper/cutter (part # 4-220) and ratcheting crimper (part # 4-230), which the company says are sure to be useful to any shop doing electrical repair work. The ratcheting crimper works on shrink terminals from 20- through 8-gauge.
