Electronic Funds Source LLC (EFS) announced the launch of a significant new upgrade to its real-time interactive interface with Innovative transportation management software from TMW Systems. This announcement is the latest of many new interface enhancements between EFS and TMW.

The new real-time interactive integration, available in the 2013.0 release, allows EFS customers who use TMW’s Innovative IES, Innovative Access and Access Plus systems to now seamlessly manage their fleets through TMW’s screens and system. Carriers have instant visibility and control, not only of their transactions, but in managing their overall fleet through an EFS- specific user-defined interface. This new functionality allows carriers to manage their cardholder purchases in real time within the back-office screens of Innovative software. Cardholder management functions supported include card and policy management, instant issue cash advances, overrides, site policy management and full access and control of EFS’ SmartFundsSM cardholder payroll application.

Further, the upgrade includes specific, customer-defined integration to better control diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) and temperature-controlled purchases while also providing EFS real-time dispatch information integrated directly to a specific card, offering better security, control, reconciliation and reporting.

“We’re extremely excited to bring this leading real-time integration to our customers,” said Scott R. Phillips, president and chief executive officer of Electronic Funds Source. This interactive interface eliminates the need for EFS customers to toggle between two systems as all EFS card management functions run through the customer’s interactive software. “We are constantly focused on new technologies that will make our customers’ lives easier and more efficient,” said Phillips. “This is another example of how our customers are determining our innovation and approach to payments in our industry – all of the upgrades in this interface came directly from our customers and it is just the beginning of what TMW and EFS can do together.”

“This real-time interactive interface with EFS continues to deliver on our promise to offer best- in class interfaces to our customers, ultimately providing higher levels of process efficiencies,” said David Wangler, President of TMW Systems. “With these enhancements, customers will be able to systematically manage and control credit card transactions.”
