Mitchell 1 integrates tire catalog in latest software release

The latest release of the Mitchell 1 Manager SE shop management software includes an integrated tire catalog from American Tire Distributors Inc. (ATD), along with other enhancements implemented in response to user feedback, said the company.

“Adding a tire catalog to our shop management software is the natural extension of the parts ordering and estimating features in Manager SE. Mitchell 1 has been integrating parts catalogs for many years, so we’re delighted to now also deliver the vital tire information our shop customers need right in the application, making it even easier for them to streamline their workflow and work more efficiently,” said John Dwulet, senior product manager for Manager SE.

According to the company, with the tire catalog integration, users have a complete catalog of tires, pricing and availability readily available. Tire fees are also applied automatically to quotes during the estimate writing process.

In addition to the tire catalog, the latest shop management software release also includes enhanced inventory control, updated purchase order control, reporting, parts ordering updates, and supports updated Nexpart and ACDelco catalogs that include the ability to order directly from inside the catalog, noted the company.

The company also said that this version also includes multiple refinements focused on improved usability based on direct feedback from users participating in the Mitchell 1 online community, the Manager Forum. All of these refinements are delivered via the Auto Updater feature in Manager SE, which automatically updates the software and feature set as the system is being used.
