TMW Systems launches SaaS versions of its business intelligence solutions

TMW Systems has introduced Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) versions of its TMW Data Warehouse, Data Warehouse Explorer and Visual Analytics solutions. The new cloud-based solutions are available now on a subscription basis to businesses using select TMW transportation management software and will be available to new customers in the coming months.

Previously available only as on-premise solutions, TMW Data Warehouse and Data Warehouse Explorer provide users with speed and flexibility in accessing operational data and answering critical questions regarding virtually any area of their businesses, the company said. The solutions also enable users to blend and analyze data from multiple areas—operations, maintenance, finance, mobile communications and more—to uncover actionable intelligence. The company’s cloud-based solutions eliminate the need for additional on-premise hardware, internal support and data security resources.

By offering these solutions via the cloud, TMW is providing access to business intelligence for transportation businesses of all types and sizes, according to TMW Systems President David Wangler.

“Big Data can help virtually any transportation business identify and eliminate deeply hidden operational constraints and other issues,” Wangler said. “Our new and growing portfolio of SaaS products brings these capabilities to a much larger audience of transportation businesses, including those that might not have the internal IT resources or budget to support an on-premise model.”
