Vnomics Corp., the provider of True Fuel, has partnered with Platform Science, the developer of a platform for on-vehicle mobile applications, to make the True Fuel application available to fleets on its open platform.

“Our partnership with Platform Science will bring the fuel-saving benefits of the True Fuel application to more fleets, including a 3% to 10% reduction in their annual fuel spend and an immediate positive ROI,” said Robert Peckham, director of business development at Vnomics.

Vnomics recently made the True Fuel solution available to fleets as an application for use through Platform Science, as well as other existing telematics systems, without requiring the purchase or installation of additional in-cab hardware. The company says the software is designed to improve fuel economy by taking into account truck configuration, load, terrain and environmental factors, and coaches drivers in real time to achieve the best possible fuel economy considering all the variables.
