Rogers Brothers Corp. said its detachable gooseneck trailers incorporate an array of design features for reducing trailer weight, increasing deck space, simplifying gooseneck operation and providing a wider selection of suspensions. In turn, these innovations save haulers substantial time and effort, and also enable them to meet strict weight regulations, the company said.
According to the trailer maker, high-strength steel with less mass reduces weight for maximum payload capacity, and the speed and convenience of the self-aligning beam hook makes the gooseneck-to-deck connection a one-person, one-minute operation, increasing efficiency. The unique Croucher design – with beams tapered both on the top and bottom – hugs the ground for unparalleled loading stability and safety, the maker added. The NoFoot non-ground engaging gooseneck enables the operator to raise or lower the deck a full 32-in. without a ram-foot touching the ground. The NoFoot’s powerful, low operating pressure permits quick, easy deck height adjustment with the simple pull of a handle, the company added.
