The Abex brand offers a complete friction portfolio for the commercial vehicle category, with products available through distributors across North America.
The new transit block joins the family of premium commercial vehicle products from Federal-Mogul and extends the company’s original equipment and replacement friction solutions for the transit market. According to the maker, the new block is engineered to significantly reduce noise and help ensure a stable, reliable and safe braking system.
Federal safety standard ratings for this new replacement lining are:
• FMVSS 121 – 26K (210 AL Factor) – Meritor 14.5-in. W Brake
• FMVSS 121 – 28K (195 AL Factor) – Meritor 16.5-in. Cast Plus
