At Freightliner, Bill Landreth, director of parts and service marketing, and Ellen Hopper, director of fleet part sales, specified the features of FleetCross for their affiliates and fleet customers. Together these features provide the most comprehensive all-makes system in the industry. They said, “Our affiliates have been seeking an all-makes system for a long time and now FleetCross answers all of their requests, as well as providing special features for our customers”.

Jack Schickler, CEO of SPI, said, “We worked with Bill and Ellen to create something really special in all-makes referencing and now their affiliates have an unprecedented opportunity to use it”.

In support of the system, SPI said it provides Web service, training, data loading and updating, cross referencing, electronic cataloging, VIN-based look-up and fleet parts profiles, as well as the operating system software, all included in the license from SPI to the user.

SPI is celebrating its 15th year in providing its FleetCross products to the transportation and equipment industry. The company said it maintains the industry’s largest database of all-makes parts information and cross references, along with providing custom Web service, VMRS coding, data cleansing, electronic cataloging and E-procurement services.
