Anthony Liftgate offers lifetime bushings warranty

Anthony Liftgates Inc. now includes a lifetime warranty on all bushings used in the company’s Tuckunder series liftgates.

Anthony Liftgates Inc. now includes a lifetime warranty on all bushings used in the company’s Tuckunder series liftgates. Highlighted as the industry’s first Service-Free design, the bushings have been helping fleet owners lower operating costs since being introduced in 1994.

“Unlike some competitive grease-zerk designs, our bushings never require routine lubrication and never need to be replaced for the life of the liftgate. We warranty that on all our Tuckunder models,” said Bill Bontemps, marketing director for Anthony. “The proprietary composite bushings have been especially successful in exceeding our expectations, as well as the expectations of our customers.”

Anthony bushings are installed at all critical pivot points to help extend pin and arm life, while simultaneously eliminating routine lubrication, the company said. All pivot point bushings are warranted against wear failure for the life of the liftgate to the original purchaser, including parts and labor.

The company said additional features and benefits of the Anthony Tuckunder lineup of liftgates, include: low pressure hydraulics to increase the life of the entire hydraulic system, including batteries and electrical components; weather proofing with special shot-blast and powder coating of all major components; potted switches are standard on all models, along with heat-shrink silicone wire connections to help seal out moisture, and stainless steel fasteners with anti-rotational terminals; and thick steel bolsters are added to areas that take a lot of stress.
