CIMS to support Tire Safety Week, June 3-9

CIMS Tire Registration is supporting the Rubber Manufacturers Association's annual effort to increase tire safety awareness during Tire Safety Week, June 3-9.

CIMS Tire Registration announced it is supporting the Rubber Manufacturers Association’s annual effort to increase tire safety awareness during Tire Safety Week, June 3-9.

“With fuel prices and the cost of living rising, it’s important to keep your car or truck in top, efficient condition, including maintaining safe tires,” said Susan Kruder, president of Akron, Ohio-based CIMS. “And when you mention tires, it’s important to ensure that they are also registered in case of a safety recall.”

CIMS is joining with RMA during the week of June 3-9 in reminding motorists, the media and the general public about the importance of driving with safe tires on all vehicles. During that week, CIMS will send out reminders to its clients – and reference the RMA’s commitment – on the importance of educating their customers about tire safety.

During Tire Safety Week, CIMS also will remind motorists that tire registration is a mandate of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
