Geotab has introduced a new series of IOX add-ons to further expand fleet management capabilities for customers: IOX-Alert, IOX-Comspread, and IOX-Output. The new add-ons are as follows:
- IOX-Alert: a driver-initiated alert notification which, when activated, records a specific engine diagnostic in MyGeotab; exception rules can be created to generate a notification in response.
- IOX-Comspread: a substance spreader controller that reports the amount of material spread, time of spreading, and the spread rate (Geotab ProPlus plan required for use).
- IOX-Output: a relay controller that allows fleet managers to enhance control and communication by sending commands directly from MyGeotab to sensors or third-party devices in the vehicle, or control a relay from the vehicle in real-time.
This IOX IOX functionality has been added by Geotab to its entry-level base price plan.
