Ingersoll Rand, a maker of compressed air technology and vehicle service tools and equipment, has launched the Garage Mate compact compressor.
The compressor is designed for users who need high performance, but where space is at a premium, the manufacturer said. It delivers air for impact guns, ratchets, grinders, drills, nail guns, paint sprayers, sanders and more.
The Garage Mate P1.5U-A9 is a 2-HP, portable single-stage compressor that delivers 5.2 CFM of air at 90 PSI and features an easily accessible drain valve, the maker said. With durable cast-iron cylinder and frame construction, this compressor is built to last and to deliver plenty of power for 100% continuous duty on the toughest applications, the company added.
In addition, a belt drive makes the compressor quiet. At just 76 dBA, it’s easy on the ears in both residential and commercial settings, Ingersoll Rand noted.
