Ingersoll Rand has launched several models in its reciprocating air compressor line, extending its offering of Type-30 air compressors. The models are reciprocating two-stage air compressors from 5 to 20 HP. Compressed air packages are available for everything from intermittent load demand to applications that require a heavier-duty cycle. The latest release features more offerings with factory-fitted options for the entire spectrum of use, the company said.
All T30 air compressors feature precision engineered, two-stage cast iron pumps for superior reliability in continuous duty applications, Ingersoll Rand noted. The ultra-rugged pump construction allows shops to run their compressors all day with a significantly reduced risk of downtime, the company added.
Additionally, T30 air compressors utilize individually cast cylinders, an overhung crankshaft and a one-piece connecting rod, which the company said combine to provide quick and easy maintenance.
T30 compressors also feature a low oil level switch that shuts down the compressor when necessary to prevent it from causing damage by running without lubricant. Premium-efficiency motors that reduce power consumption are also available as options on standard packages, the maker said.
Compressors are available in Value, Value Plus and Premium packages with a variety of factory-fitted options to suit diverse customer needs. Each package is backed by the Ingersoll Rand standard warranty, and includes coverage of either electric motors or gas engines.
