Innovative Products of America, a supplier of tools and equipment for the maintenance and repair of commercial vehicles, announced the release of the Pulsar, which the company said is designed to easily troubleshoot and diagnose automotive wiring problems.
The Pulsar connects directly to the fuse box and safely pulses DC current into a circuit, allowing the technician to diagnose faulty connections. It combines four unique features in an easy-to-use hand tool: power pulse, parasitic draw, current-limiter and AMP reader, according to the maker. Technicians can also connect to a DC power source for bench testing. The Pulsar allows the technician to dial in the desired current rating while safely monitoring and protecting the circuit’s condition. The large digital display reads up to 50 AMPS with a 0.1 resolution, the company added.
