Pressure Systems International added clearly identifiable markings to the flexible valve stem connection hoses of the Meritor Tire Inflation System (MTIS) by PSI. The new look incorporates a yellow stripe and the PSI name so they can be clearly recognized as proprietary MTIS hoses.

The MTIS connection hose carries air into the tire and is critical to the performance of the system. Other hoses sold as will-fit replacements may not conform to the strict quality criteria set by PSI and may not offer the same reliable performance as genuine MTIS hoses, the company said. Look for the yellow stripe and the PSI name to assure it is a genuine MTIS hose.
