Purolator heavy-duty filters meet today’s filtration needs

This year, Purolator is adding 170 new part numbers to its heavy-duty filtration line, which includes oil, air, cabin air, fuel, transmission, ancillary, air dryers, hydraulic and coolant filters. The company said its heavy-duty program is designed to optimize vehicle performance, reduce maintenance costs and provide innovative filtration solutions.

Purolator Filters said it continues to expand its presence in the heavy-duty market with a rapidly growing portfolio of top quality filtration products. In 2010 alone, Purolator is adding 170 new part numbers to its heavy-duty filtration line, according to the company.

“Our purpose in expanding our heavy duty line is to offer our customers – truck parts distributors, fleet owners and operators, and repair facilities – the advantage of a single source that meets all of their vehicle filtration needs,” said John Enright, senior product manager. “Furthermore, they can do so with the confidence that the products we are supplying are backed by the Purolator brand’s long-standing reputation for quality and reliability.”

Purolator’s line of heavy-duty filters includes oil, air, cabin air, fuel, transmission, ancillary, air dryers, hydraulic and coolant, covering 80% of medium- and heavy-duty vehicles in operation. The company said its heavy-duty program is designed to optimize vehicle performance, reduce maintenance costs and provide innovative filtration solutions. Purolator also covers mobile-off-highway, agricultural and construction equipment.

Application listings for all Purolator heavy-duty filters, including 20 new part numbers released within the last month, are included in the new Purolator heavy-duty catalog. In addition, detailed online cross-reference data allows customers to find the correct heavy-duty filter, according to the company.
