Truck-Lite’s Signal-Stat line offers white LED auxiliary lighting

White LED auxiliary lighting options are available in the form of round and rectangular work lamps, ideal for light utility, construction, agricultural, airport and tow trucks, as well as state and highway departments. The three auxiliary lighting additions provide end users with a brighter, crisper and whiter light output closer to the color temperature of daylight.

Truck-Lite said it has added white LED auxiliary lighting options in the form of round and rectangular work lamps to its Signal-Stat lineup. Originally released in 2004, the Signal-Stat branded line has grown to over 100 products and offers high-diode count appearance at prices competitive with imported lamps.

Ideal for light utility, construction, agricultural, airport and tow trucks, as well as state and highway departments, the three new auxiliary lighting additions provide the end user with a brighter, crisper and whiter light output closer to the color temperature of daylight, the company said. The additions include: part #8150, an 8 diode, 4.5-in. Round lamp; part #8155, an 8 diode 4.33 x 3.94-in. rectangular lamp; and part #8160, a 10 diode 4.33 x 3.94-in rectangular lamp.

The LED work lamps are comprised of a polycarbonate lens, aluminum housing and multi-volt function to operate from 9 to 36 volts without adjustment. The Signal-Stat line is engineered with globally produced components and put through intense testing and quality control to meet Truck-Lite standards, according to the company.

Truck-Lite said all Signal-Stat LEDs: exceed legal requirements; have an extensive pattern of multiple diodes; carry a two-year limited warranty; retrofit easily using standard plug connections; resist shock and vibration; have all electronics sealed in epoxy to resist corrosion and moisture; and draw less current, allowing more power for other vehicle requirements and extending alternator life.
