Inland Truck Parts & Service has announced the acquisition of four truck service shops. Last July, Inland acquired Custom Class 8 Truck Service in Grand Island, Neb., and broke ground earlier this month for its new, state-of-the-art facility. Inland expects the existing operation to move into the new facility by the end of 2017, which will provide a full range of parts and service offerings.
The company also acquired D&S Truck Service last October and C&E Truck & Auto Repair last November, both located in the Oklahoma City metro area. Inland plans to either build or buy new facilities on both the east and west side of Oklahoma City and relocate existing operations there to provide easier access for its customer base.
In February of this year, Inland also acquired Grizzly Maintenance in Casper, Wyoming, and relocated the business into a newly remodeled facility to combine it with the existing parts business.
The expansions bring Inland’s service shop operations to a total of 27 locations out of 30 the company currently operates all throughout the Great Plains.
