Blue Ink has announced that the company’s new BIT TPMS Tire Pressure Monitoring System will provide tire pressure readings and alerts the BIT ELD app.
Tire pressure readings will be automatically recorded when the driver performs a DVIR. If any tire reading is above or below the tire pressure limits set by the carrier or driver, an issue will be added to the DVIR report. In addition, drivers will see any tire issues when they log into the BIT app and get alerts while on the road if pressure or temperature is outside set limits.
The company says that it expects the new system will help users increase awareness of the health of their trucks due to the daily use of the app.
