Teletrac Navman, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider leveraging AI and machine learning to drive next-generation mobile asset and fleet management, announced that Boyd Machtolff has been named vice president, engineering. According to a recent press release, Boyd will provide leadership and direction to the engineering team and interface with the other internal and external stakeholders.
Boyd’s most recent role was vice president, cloud and AI/ML engineering at Inseego Corp. where he gained significant experience in telematics, hardware and compliance solutions, along with exposure to the vertical markets that Teletrac Navman are investing in. Prior to that, Boyd has a 20+ year history in research and development, including vice president of engineering roles along with chief technology officer and product related roles.
