Cummins Inc. announced that its 2007 clean and fuel-efficient on-highway engines are available in Class 8 tractors, which meet requirements for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s SmartWay-designated highway tractors, part of the U.S. EPA SmartWay Transport Partnership. Cummins

Cummins 2007 on-highway engines, which power Class 8 tractors, include the ISX, ISM and ISL. The engines are certified and compliant to the 2007 EPA requirements. In addition to meeting the more stringent requirements, these engines also deliver reliability, fuel efficiency and performance, the company said. Cummins engines can be purchased in SmartWay-eligible Class 8 tractors from International, Volvo, Kenworth and Peterbilt.
