Nexiq Technologies recently announced the release of eTechnician 2.8, which enables the PC-based solution to provide bi-directional diagnostic support for Hino Trucks. In addition to the newly introduced diagnostic capabilities for Hino Trucks engines, eTechnician 2.8 also provides proprietary transmission and brake support for Hino cab-over models, according to the recent press release.
“Medium- and heavy-duty truck repair operations now have the ability to program injector codes for EPA 07 to 2021 engines,” said David Shock, product manager, Nexiq Technologies. “We’ve also added the ability to program maximum vehicle speed and idle shutdown setting.”
From Class 8 commercial vehicles to light-duty trucks, eTechnician software is designed to deliver diagnostic capabilities for engines, transmission, brakes, body and chassis, and more.
