Freightliner, Love’s roll out exclusive repair service

Less than a year after a partnership with Daimler was announced, a far-reaching service network is up and running.

Freightliner ExpressPoint is now operational for Freightliner truck customers at more than 400 Love’s Travel Stops and Speedco locations, with additional location openings planned.

This comes less than a year after Love’s Travel Stops partnered with Daimler Truck North America, with the goal of offering a wide network of increased support and convenience for light mechanical repairs − but it’s not just for roadside emergencies. Participating Love’s locations now work with Freightliner dealers to provide light mechanical warranty repairs (including HVAC, fuel systems, external engine components, brakes, suspension, and more), along with approved field service and recall campaigns for Freightliner trucks.

Eric Daniels, Love’s vice president of total truck care, says technicians at Love’s and Speedco received training from Freightliner dealers to provide service, and maximize time on the road for drivers.

The partnership was a strategic move, according to Paul Romanaggi, GM of service at Daimler Trucks North America, who says the “Freightliner service network charts a course that ensures reliability and efficiency to increase customer profitability keeping their trucks running.”
