Horton, Inc. and Kit Masters have reached an agreement to settle pending litigation that involved a claim by Horton against Kit Masters for infringement of U.S. Patent No. 5,636,719 by Kit Masters’ HTS-2 speed, 88-2S and 98001 products, which will no longer be offered for sale. Horton and Kit Masters also have reached an agreement to settle pending litigation involving a counterclaim by Kit Masters against Horton for infringement of U.S. Patent No. 7,533,764. Complete terms of the settlement agreement are confidential, according to Horton.
Horton’s litigation against Kit Masters remains ongoing for infringement of U.S. Patent Nos. 6,838,796 and 5,611,415 by Kit Masters’ GoldTop product involving a two-speed eddy current drive.
