Investment group purchases Reyco Granning Suspensions

Private investment group MAT Capital, an affiliate of MAT Holdings Inc., has purchased Reyco Granning from Tuthill Corp. Founded in 1924 as Reynolds Manufacturing Co., Reyco has been designing and manufacturing suspensions systems for over 85 years.

Hendrickson puts a new twist on end bushings

The new rotating bar pin end bushing design creates an opportunity for time savings, as the installer will not need to pay special attention to the bar pin angle during installation. Once pressed in, the bar pin can be turned with a shop wrench or similar tool to the required axle angle. The product includes a set of shims for easy axle alignment, as well as the required fasteners to complete the installation.

Phillips Industries introduces new sliding axle spring kit

The new kits include Phillips Qwik-Snap hose holder with patented scissor design that allows for cable and hose replacement in seconds. The holders are easy to open and close even with gloved hands, and with a positive lock, are strong enough to stay connected at over 80 lbs. of pull force.

Ridewell releases RAR-260 25K suspension with bolt-on hangers

Ridewell, which manufactures suspensions for the truck, trailer, bus and RV industries, has expanded its RAR-260 Series of suspensions. New part numbers are available with 16-, 17- and 18-in. mounting heights.

ArvinMeritor launches new ProTec HMIS series

Meritor ProTec High Mobility Independent Suspensions Series from ArvinMeritor is available in three configurations: Series 30 for light-duty, Series 40 for medium- and medium-heavy duty and Series 50 for heavy-duty applications. The series is designed for tactical and combat wheeled military vehicles and armored personnel carriers, as well as off-highway, emergency and custom chassis vehicles.

Stemco, Gaff form strategic alliance

Under the alliance, Gaff will provide high performance polyurethane suspension components to the commercial vehicle market in the U.S. and Canada via distribution through the Stemco Kaiser suspension component group. Stemco’s sales team will assist customers with the repair and selection of polyurethane products, as well as provide on-site training.

Hendrickson adds Steertek capacities on International truck models

Hendrickson’s Steertek front steer axle is now available in capacities up to 14,600 lbs. on International’s ProStar+, LoneStar and TranStar vehicle models. The axle is designed to resist twisting forces more effectively than traditional I-beams, while offering increased strength and reduced weight, according to the company.

Hendrickson offers 10-year, 1 million-mile warranty on Steertek axle

Hendrickson Truck Suspension Systems is now offering a 10-year, 1 million mile limited warranty on its Steertek front steer axle. The limited warranty covers Steertek axles equipped on approved vehicles built after Jan. 1, 2010. Coverage includes the axle beam, steering arm, knuckle assemblies and kingpins when used in Hendrickson-approved applications.

Reyco Granning offers 10-year suspension warranty

Reyco Granning now offers a standard 10-year parts and labor warranty on an air slider suspension. The warranty provides a 10-year parts and labor allowance on all structural components, trailing beams, the axle beam, the axle seat connection, air springs and bushings; and 50% off the published list price on all replacement parts for the life of the suspension. Dockmaster models covered by the warranty are: 86AR/RS3035 and 86AR/RS3015 air sliders.

New Meritor tandem drive axle makes debut at MATS

ArvinMeritor says its new Meritor 14X tandem drive axle is an advanced evolutionary axle system built on the legacy of the RT145, one of the industry’s most successful tandem axles. The 14X features a robust and efficient inter-axle differential, the fastest ratio and widest range of axle ratios, plus several other design enhancements while continuing to be the lightest axle in its class, the company said.

SAF-Holland introduces Neway ADZ series

SAF-Holland’s Neway ADZ series drive axle air-ride suspension, is offered in 23,000 lb. and 26,000 lb. capacities, was developed for vocational trucks and tractors. The new suspension has been engineered for vocational applications including construction, mixers, logging, mining, oilfield, refuse, fire apparatus and heavy-haul.
