China Manufacturers Alliance (CMA) has announced a general price increase for Double Coin truck/bus radial and radial over-the-road tires, effective April 1. Due to the current economic pricing pressures, CMA is initiating a general price increase up to 5% with some in-line changes on Double Coin TBR & ROTR products, as well as private label products.

“The continuing increases in raw materials, along with rising costs of ocean and inland transportation, are major contributors for the change in pricing,” said Aaron Murphy, CMA vice president.

Double Coin’s last price increase on TBR products occurred on June 1, 2011. The company’s tires have been marketed in the U.S. since 1992.
